The Thomas Residence
Port Townsend, Washington
Chris Stafford designed and assisted in the construction of these first two permitted load-bearing straw-bale structures in Washington State. A garage and photographic studio built by family and friends are the first of a three building residential complex in Jefferson County. Until the house is built the studio has been converted into the couple’s comfortable 600 interior square foot one-bedroom residence.
